We spent the 4th of July with the P-Z family. Friends of theirs have an amazing rustic property in Woodside where we were invited to camp and hang out for the day. We decided not to spend the night, but we thoroughly enjoyed the day.
The property line on one side is a creek - where the kids enjoyed most of their time.
After the day in Woodside, we headed down to the Port of Redwood City and watched the fireworks. Annika was able to enjoy the show for the first time. August held his hands over his ears and was uneasy. The fact that we had had a long day and it was 1.5 hours past his bedtime could have had something to do with it too.
