Lunch @ the Pregnancy ceremony

Part of Jennifer's Auntie's courtyard was turned into a make-shift kitchen for the event

It's the size of everything that was so impressive

Briyani anyone?

After the ceremony was over, workers rushed in and collected all the blue plastic chairs we had all been sitting on. Then they rushed in long, narrow tables, lined them up in a row, sprinkled them with water, layed down a pink plastic wrap, put the blue plastic chairs back, then started laying down leaf-lined plates and plastic cups. It probably took a minute to have 10 people ready to start eating lunch.

After the plates were put down and people grabbed chairs, buckets of food started coming by; veg briyani, curry chicken, raita and sliced cucumbers

It was very good. The four white people were offered forks, but I declined.

Here are the newlyweds enjoying their meal.
