All through our youth the cherry blossom tree outside my sister's bedroom window would bloom right before her birthday (March 26).
Today we drove down a road that was lined with cherry blossom trees on both sides and they were in full bloom. It was gorgeous! So my mind immediately went to my sister and started sending her many, many happy wishes for her birthday.
