Photo from the Ganesha festival

Here's a photo from our friend John. We are at Ulsoor Lake so August can throw his Ganesha statue into the lake - along with the throng of hundreds (thousands?) of devotees.

I carried him on my shoulders so he wouldn't be crushed/lost in the chaotic crowd.
