Rajma

This week Angel taught me to make Rajma (kidney beans) I was looking for something yummy that is low in fat and high in fiber. Yum...

First she pressure cooked the kidney beans that had soaked all night.

This puree of onion, garlic, fresh ginger, cinnamon and cardamom smelled so good

Then she fried the puree in a little olive oil and added the obligatory Indian spices

She stirred the kidney beans in with the cooked puree and pressure cooked it all together

And fresh chapatis to eat it with... very good!


And sun tea with fresh mint to wash it down.
