So much fun... food, DJ, dancing, and the whole community out mingling. Everyone was encouraged to wear Indian clothes.
It was in a park near our house so we could hear the music from home. We went with the kids (didn't start until 8:00p - their bedtime) so we played until 9:30p then they both complained they were tired. I took them home, put them to bed, then some of our friends followed Erik home and we sat on the front porch and drank beer and chatted.
In preparation for Dandiya nite some people did Mehendi in the park Friday afternoon for the kids and ladies. Annika LOVES her mehendi
